Greatest Hits of Accounting

This week’s video comes from Drew Carey’s Whose Line is it Anyway:

  1. I think it's hilarious that they can come up with a disco hit that makes fun of accounting acronyms, and it is very true we cannot get enough of those abbreviations!

  2. I agree Michelle, this is mind boggling that this guys can compose such a cool hit with accounting acronyms. That's talent! I'm currently working for a "Big-4" and boy, I had to get a note book to keep track of the 100s of acronyms used on a daily basis. But what I find disturbing, is the uses of these acronyms when relating to the client. They do not know what these acronyms mean folks!Actually, I've had an experience recently where someone on my engagement team was actually asked if he/she does not know how to use real words when communicating with them. I was so embarrassed. Thankfully, my manager has since implemented the "NO USE OF ACRONYMS RULE" when dealing with external parties.
